Perusing his love for music, Andrew moved to Melbourne to further his education completing an Advanced Diploma of Music Performance in Jazz and Contemporary and continued onto a Bachelor Degree in Jazz and Contemporary
Andrew has been fortunate enough to study under some of Australia’s best drummers. They have helped him open up his drum vocabulary and now has a strong association with groove and servicing the song with a musicians mindset as well as having a drive for improvisation, writing and producing. He has been fortunate enough work with with an array of artists including Yeo and T-Kay Maidza to name a few as well as music for film and TV including the award wining SBS documentary Servant or Slave.
He currently heads up Pocket Studios where he runs a teaching, recording and production studio and has currently finished recording a debut record with local band Surprise Chef on College of Knowledge records out 2019.
